Overview
As a software developer, you will design and deliver Java-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. You will leverage Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and AWS to build scalable solutions, while adhering to Agile processes and ensuring quality through CI and testing. You’ll partner with BAs, QAs, and stakeholders to capture intent, document progress, and continuously improve the software delivered. This role offers the chance to influence IT strategy and contribute to reliable, well-architected systems.

- Plan and execute software development to meet business requirements
- Select and implement suitable development tools and libraries
- Collaborate with BAs and stakeholders to design UX
- Work with QAs to identify and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Document software throughout delivery
- Coordinate with developers, QAs, BAs and stakeholders to ensure high quality deliverables
- Contribute to project planning with the team
- Understand business intent and outcomes with BAs
- Contribute to IT strategy and goal achievement
- Extensive experience with Java and SQL databases
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS cloud features and APIs
- Proficient with Git, CI, and unit testing
- Understanding of the software development process, including Agile
- Experience in data management
