Senior Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you translate complex identity requirements into practical IAM solutions, shaping how organisations manage access. You will work at the intersection of business, security and technology within a growing digital consultancy. You’ll lead discovery with security, business and tech stakeholders and map identity journeys to deliver RBAC and onboarding improvements. This position offers impact across public and private sector IAM transformations, including Microsoft Entra ID implementations and best-practice alignment. The role combines hands-on analysis with cross-functional collaboration to drive secure, scalable access management.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with business, security and technical stakeholders
• Map current and future-state identity and access journeys
• Define requirements for IAM solutions, including RBAC models and onboarding processes
• Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or equivalent identity provider implementations
• Identify process improvements and align solutions with IAM best practice
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering and transformation teams

• Experience in business analysis within technology transformation environments
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), access controls and permissions
• Requirements gathering, workshops and stakeholder management
• Process mapping and continuous improvement
• Experience in Agile delivery environments
• Active SC Clearance (or the ability to transfer existing clearance)
