  • Hybrid working - London / Bristol, with travel between sites once per week

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a major organisation operating within the UK Defence sector, delivering complex digital and technology programmes across multiple business and technical domains. This is an opportunity to work at a senior level, influencing requirements, dependencies and delivery across a significant transformation environment. Due to ongoing programme activity, they are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the team.

THE SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST ROLE:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll lead the investigation, analysis and definition of platform requirements across multiple programmes and business areas. You'll identify cross-programme dependencies, assess impacts and risks, and ensure requirements are aligned with strategic objectives and programme outcomes.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, platform teams and programme colleagues, acting as a key liaison to support collaboration, decision-making and delivery planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
  • Assess impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities
  • Engage senior stakeholders to align requirements with programme objectives
  • Produce high-quality requirements, process models and impact assessments
  • Support programme governance and decision-making
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical/platform teams and programme stakeholders

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Business Analyst
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
  • Experience producing process models, requirements and impact assessments
  • Strong understanding of dependencies, risks and business impacts
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working across complex business and technical environments
  • Ability to operate confidently across multiple programmes or workstreams
  • Experience supporting programme governance and strategic decision-making
