In this role you apply advanced business analysis to large, multi-location projects within a top-tier law firm. You collaborate with lawyers, partners, and functional teams to translate goals into Epics, features and user stories, shaping data and product delivery across agile environments. You’ll lead discovery, manage backlogs, run workshops, and support UAT and stakeholder communications. This role suits a proactive analyst who thrives in complex environments and values collaborative, data-driven transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements discovery and backlog management in Azure DevOps with product owners
  • Run large, cross-functional workshops and translate business needs into epics, features and user stories
  • Elicit requirements in Agile or Waterfall methodologies and define functional/non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with data engineers/scientists and business teams to align scope and benefits
  • Support UAT, test script reviews, and acceptance criteria
  • Assist with third-party selection by detailing business requirements
  • Promote Business Analysis value across the firm and mentor team members
  • Manage complex stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
  • Demonstrate BA tools and techniques in team sessions
  • Provide training materials for rollout and support risk/issue mitigation
Key requirements
  • Advanced understanding of Business Analysis tools across full delivery lifecycle
  • Experience on large, complex projects spanning multiple locations with data/AI/automation
  • Proven stakeholder management with lawyers and senior leaders
  • Technical interface skills with delivery teams, architects, data professionals
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of seniority
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Mural, Visio, Tableau, Power BI, BDD, BPMN, Waterfall and Agile Delivery
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and relationship-building
  • Ability to work independently, escalate when needed, and assess commercial impact
