Overview

In this Senior Business Analyst role, you will be at the core of measuring and improving the economic value of Teya’s products across credit, acquiring and business accounts. You’ll translate ambiguous problems into structured analyses, build models from first principles, and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, Engineering and Growth to shape pricing, segmentation and product strategy. Responsibilities
  • Own complex analytical problems from definition to delivery with clear hypotheses and recommendations
  • Build and maintain NPV, unit economics and LTV models across product lines
  • Analyze customer behaviour, product performance and portfolio economics to identify value drivers
  • Use SQL and Python to extract and analyse large datasets for decision-ready insights
  • Design and analyse experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, natural experiments) to test pricing and strategy
  • Challenge models and methodologies, validating forecasts against real-world performance
  • Develop metrics, dashboards and analytical frameworks for performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, Engineering and Growth to translate findings into decisions
  • Identify data gaps and opportunities to improve measurement and insights
  • Take ownership of projects with autonomy and align stakeholders around analytical approach
  • Support development of analytical capability across the team through robust methodologies
  • Communicate complex analysis clearly to senior stakeholders and leadership
  • Proactively raise process and measurement improvements
Key requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience in business analytics, credit analytics, valuations, strategy or data-driven environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus
  • Strong proficiency in SQL; experience with Python for data analysis and modeling
  • Ability to structure and solve complex problems using a hypothesis-driven approach
  • Experience building analytical models/frameworks from scratch, with data and assumptions defined
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to connect findings to business performance
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights to senior stakeholders
  • Comfort presenting findings to leadership and influencing strategic discussions
  • Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, with a track record of delivering outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with lending economics (loss, risk-adjusted returns, NPV/LTV) is a plus
  • Strong communication and influence with senior stakeholders
