Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst in Moneycorp's Transformation Office, you will shape cross-functional change through rigorous analysis and clear requirements. You’ll support strategic Payments and FX transformation programmes, enabling evidence-based decisions and efficient delivery. You will collaborate with Product, Operations, Technology and Finance to translate priorities into actionable artifacts, roadmaps and governance materials. This role offers impact across global platform changes, regulatory delivery, and operating-model design. You will work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment that values credible analysis and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain transformation scope, priorities, dependencies, RAID and delivery milestones
  • Collaborate with programme managers and business/stakeholders across functions
  • Apply BA standards to document requirements, baselines and benefits
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations to support governance decisions
  • Scoping IT development with stakeholders and third parties
  • Assess scope, benefits, risks and trade-offs with business users and sponsors
  • Serve as the link between delivery teams, vendors and business stakeholders
  • Manage backlogs, user stories, defects and change requests
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Draft and maintain business requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure requirements traceability to outcomes and benefits
  • Follow governance for decisions, risks and exceptions
  • Create project collateral and decision logs
  • Deliver analysis and reporting outputs to Transformation Office standards
  • Use structured questioning to clarify ambiguity and propose practical options
  • Maintain workshop and governance outputs with decisions and next steps
  • Produce clear project, workstream and executive reporting including benefits and delivery confidence
Key requirements
  • Strong BA experience in multi-workstream transformation
  • Agile delivery experience with backlogs, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Understanding of IT systems, SaaS/vendor delivery models, data and integration dependencies
  • Financial services experience, ideally payments/FX/banking/regulatory transformation
  • Process mapping, data analysis, operating-model impacts and benefits tracking
  • Proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, analytical tools and Copilot / AI-enabled ways of working
  • ROI, benefits and value analysis including baselines and ownership
  • Able to map end-to-end processes, customer journeys and data flows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for executive-ready analyses
  • Strong organizational skills and stakeholder management
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, regulated transformation environments
  • Credibility with senior leadership and Board-level audiences
  • Structured problem solving with good judgment and influencing skills
