Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Business Architecture & Integration team, you will operate where business strategy, technology and organisational change meet. You’ll lead discovery, shape strategic initiatives, and support portfolio and investment decisions across complex environments. You’ll influence stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and help mature the Business Analysis discipline. This role offers impact across enterprise-wide transformation and value realisation through data-driven analysis.

• Lead discovery and analysis across strategic, transformational and portfolio initiatives
• Frame complex challenges, define outcomes and create a change vision before exploring options
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable recommendations and initiatives
• Apply systems thinking to assess interdependencies across organisation, processes, data and technology
• Analyse risks, costs, benefits and trade-offs to support decisions
• Document current-state processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps
• Rapidly understand new domains, operating models and tech landscapes
• Ensure initiatives align with measurable business, customer and employee outcomes
• Facilitate discovery, assessment and prioritisation for investment cases
• Develop and present investment cases with strategic alignment, value, risks, costs and benefits
• Support governance and investment processes for tech initiatives
• Mentor Business Analysts and contribute to standard setting and capability development
• Lead or support due diligence and integration planning for mergers, acquisitions and strategic investments
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and facilitate workshops for alignment
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across teams
• Ensure compliance with governance, architecture, security and data protection standards

• Degree in business, finance or technology, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; experience creating business cases and requirements documentation
• Solid business acumen and knowledge of IT operations, information security, business systems and digital product development
• Experience delivering change via global, cross-functional initiatives across multiple project methodologies
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; strong facilitation and consensus-building
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be highly organised and detail-oriented
• Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities and distributed, multi-time zone stakeholder groups
• Experience driving continuous improvement and innovation across teams
• Knowledge of M&A processes including due diligence, valuation and negotiation is a plus
