Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Use advanced analytics and SQL reporting as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario. Build insights for Collections operations.

This senior analyst supports Scotia Dealer Advantage’s Collections department and its business strategies. You will create reporting, analyze business data, maintain databases, and translate requirements into intuitive files. The work supports key performance indicators, service level agreements, operational controls, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, review, maintain, and distribute required performance reporting
• Analyze business data using advanced analytics and modelling tools
• Develop complex databases and reporting for department needs
• Prepare trend analysis, discrepancy explanations, and management recommendations
• Support projects, systems, processes, technology, and solution implementation

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS
• Experience with SAS, SQL, Report Builder, Power BI, or Python
• Experience migrating SAS code to SQL
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills managing competing initiatives
