Senior Business Systems Analyst ECM

Apply systems analysis and automation expertise as a Senior Business Systems Analyst with Equitable’s hybrid Enterprise Content Management team in Waterloo, Ontario.

This permanent full-time role supports capture, imaging, case management, and business process automation solutions. You will analyze workflow requests, define specifications, improve processes, and support business-critical enterprise workflows. The position suits an analytical specialist with insurance or financial services experience and strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document medium to large workflow automation requests
• Define solution specifications with business and technical partners
• Triage enhancement requests and determine business-value priorities
• Support quality assurance strategies, testing, and defect management
• Ensure projects meet organizational standards and audit controls

Requirements:

• Five to eight years of Business Systems Analyst experience
• At least two years in insurance or financial services
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience writing requirements, use cases, and process flows
• Working knowledge of SQL, DB2, C#, .Net, or APIs
