In this senior, hands-on role you work on a flagship desktop platform within a global fintech, shaping architecture and delivering scalable features. You collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to drive secure, reliable, and high-performance software. You lead technical decisions and own feature delivery in an Agile environment, contributing to continual improvement. • Architect, design and develop new features for the flagship desktop platform
• Ensure security, reliability, maintainability and performance of the system
• Collaborate with Product Owner and other teams to inform design and technical choices
• Provide technical ownership within an Agile environment and drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to architecture decisions and guide implementation for scalable, high-traffic workloads
• Work on a complex, scalable insurance-related platform handling large request volumes

• C# .Net Core backend development on large, scalable systems
• Strong technical leadership with ownership of features (not management)
• Collaborative and pragmatic, able to influence senior engineers
• Advocate for clean, reusable, maintainable code and best practices
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture
• Fundamental CS knowledge (OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
• Understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Exposure to Azure, SaaS, PaaS, microservices
• STEM degree (e.g., Computer Science) with strong maths grounding
