We're partnering with a highly technical trading technology business that is investing heavily in the next generation of its automated trading platform.

This is a senior-level opportunity to join a small team of engineers, traders and quantitative specialists responsible for building high-performance systems that operate in real time across global financial markets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing a new trading platform, helping shape the architecture, engineering standards and technical direction for years to come.

The Role

You'll work directly with traders, quantitative researchers and senior stakeholders to build low-latency systems that power real-time pricing, market data processing and automated trading.

This is a hands-on engineering position with significant technical influence and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency C++ applications
• Build high-performance trading and market data systems
• Develop exchange connectivity and order execution components
• Improve platform performance, scalability and reliability
• Collaborate closely with traders and quantitative researchers
• Influence architecture and long-term technology strategy
• Contribute to engineering best practices and technical standards

What They're Looking For

• Experience building low-latency, real-time systems
• Background within electronic trading or financial markets preferred
• Strong understanding of performance optimisation
• Experience working on distributed systems
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced engineering environment
