Overview
In this role you will own key Linux-based C++ development areas, shaping architecture and delivering end-to-end features. You will mentor junior engineers and tackle low-level systems tasks, including OS concepts, memory management and multithreading. The role combines hands-on design with performance optimization to support secure, reliable software for critical systems. You’ll work with experienced engineers to influence best practices and drive technical direction. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Manchester, offering leadership ownership and meaningful, systems-level impact.
