Senior Cloud Accounting Technician

Cloud accounting expertise powers this full-time, on-site Senior Accounting Technician position with MNP in Prince George, British Columbia. Manage complete client bookkeeping services.

As part of MNP’s ease Cloud Accounting Services team, you will support clients across changing financial reporting needs. Your work includes bookkeeping, payroll administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. You will also provide functional advice and support junior bookkeeping team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer full cycle bookkeeping for MNP clients
• Prepare payroll filings, remittances, T4s, and T5s
• Complete month end and quarter end close processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank transactions
• Investigate discrepancies and develop resolutions with supervisors

Requirements:

• Three years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
• Experience preparing T4s and T5s
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Cloud accounting software experience, including QBO or Xero preferred
• Accounting or business administration certificate or diploma considered an asset
