This senior DataOps and Cloud Data Engineer assignment emphasizes database management, cloud replication, and operational reliability. You will plan, configure, maintain, administer, and tune Oracle, Microsoft Azure SQL, and Synapse databases. The work also includes stored procedures, backup recovery, automation, and database change promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and tune Oracle, Azure SQL, and Synapse databases
  • Develop complex Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server procedures
  • Optimize stored procedure and database performance
  • Build and test backup and recovery scripts
  • Perform patching, upgrades, partitioning, and capacity planning

Requirements:

  • Expert database administration experience across enterprise platforms
  • Extensive SQL Server stored procedure experience
  • Extensive Oracle PL/SQL development and tuning experience
  • Experience with Azure SQL and Oracle replication
  • Experience monitoring and tuning DataOps performance
