Senior Cloud Engineer

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and implement best practices
  • Stay current with cloud computing and DevOps trends, technologies, and practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong programming/development experience
  • Considerable experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Strong proficiency in AWS cloud technologies, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, SNS, and SQS
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Amazon EKS
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent delivery skills, including software design strategy, automated testing, analysis, feedback loops, production readiness, and monitoring
  • Demonstrated domain expertise and ability to align solutions with business objectives and industry trends
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop business partnerships and document initiatives clearly
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate team members
  • AWS certification is a plus
  • Ability to commute to the Redhill office three days per week
