In this role you will design, deploy and manage secure, scalable cloud capabilities for mission-critical environments in a defence context. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth deployments and maintain security and compliance. - Building and configuring cloud services to meet business and application requirements
- Monitoring cloud environments for performance, availability, cost optimisation, and security compliance
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Automating deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Implementing and enforcing cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security
- Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to enable smooth application deployments
- Designing, deploying, and managing AWS solutions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls, routing)
- Strong familiarity with AWS services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
