Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Shape hybrid infrastructure architecture through Oracle platforms, cloud delivery, and container technologies in a senior architect assignment.

This position leads comprehensive technology platform design, infrastructure transformation, testing, and implementation for DHDP. Responsibilities include developing integrated architectures across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments using PaaS and CaaS technologies. You will define technical requirements, apply design and deployment practices, and ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional needs. The assignment also involves PKI, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and Maximum Availability Architecture solutions. Collaboration includes Ontario Health, IBM, Oracle, RedHat, Docker, Sematext, AWS, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop integrated technology strategies and platform architectures
• Design and implement hybrid, on-premise, and cloud solutions
• Apply PaaS and CaaS technologies to solution delivery
• Design, test, install, and monitor infrastructure systems
• Identify risks, resolve issues, and recommend mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• 10+ years delivering technical architecture and complex implementations
• Maximum Availability Architecture implementation experience
• Oracle T7, Backup and Recovery Appliance, and Oracle OVM experience
• Experience leading developers, architects, and consultants
• Knowledge of technical design and architecture principles
