Senior Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Infrastructure automation is central to this senior cloud engineering role, using Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and Azure DevOps Pipelines. Work across enterprise platforms.

The Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer designs and implements build automation and immutable infrastructure in Azure cloud environments. Responsibilities span GitOps, Docker, OpenShift, clustering, load balancers, firewalls, storage capacity, disaster recovery, and performance tuning. The position also supports enterprise business and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design infrastructure as code build automation
• Implement immutable infrastructure with Ansible and Packer
• Manage storage, capacity, backups, and disaster recovery
• Configure clustered load balancers and firewalls
• Perform performance analysis and resource usage tracking

Requirements:

• 10+ years in systems and communications technology
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud DevOps tools
• Working knowledge of GitOps and pull requests
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
• Ability to perform log searches and ad-hoc reporting
