Senior Cloud Infrastructure Developer

Build reusable cloud infrastructure patterns and provisioning pipelines as a Senior Software Developer working across Government of Ontario cloud environments.

This senior developer creates and maintains code supporting infrastructure delivery and data gathering or reporting. Responsibilities span translating technical specifications, developing applications, and compiling data-driven programs. The work also includes complex public-cloud setup, advanced security configuration, and cloud provider design across Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, and Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create reusable patterns for complex public-cloud provider setup
• Update and create provisioning pipelines for cloud offerings
• Write and maintain infrastructure provisioning code
• Compile data-driven programs and maintain applications
• Support data gathering and reporting activities

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, and Google Cloud
• Cloud environments experience at comparable Government or BPS scale
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents across cloud environments
• Experience working with vendor partners during issue resolution
• Strong communication for operational and process-related discussions
