A leading organization based in Somerset requires a Senior Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing team.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Experience of producing enterprise level technical designs (for on-prem and cloud environments)
• Experience of implementing and supporting enterprise hosting infrastructure in both public and cloud (Azure)
• Experience of Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Virtualisation (VMWare) and Backup in a multi‑tenancy, multi‑customer environments
• Experience of developing standards, policies and procedures relating to hosting services
• Large scale implementation or migration of technology stacks to new data centres, or onboarding of new customers to existing services/cloud
• Experience engaging with customers (internal or external) on solution design
• Ensuring best practices are in place with IT security at the forefront of all decisions.
• Experience of leading in technical projects, defining objectives, timelines and resource commitments.
• Enterprise architecture processes, or relevant technologies such as Nutanix, Azure, Rubrik, VMWare at an Architect level
• Cyber security
• ITILv4 foundation
• Project Management
