Overview
In this Senior Cloud Platform Engineer role, you’ll help Liberis scale its AI-enabled cloud platform across GCP and existing Azure services. You’ll build shared infrastructure and developer tooling used by product teams, advancing AI-powered capabilities and guardrails. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, cross-team collaboration, and driving practical AI adoption with measurable impact. You’ll contribute to a migration mindset from Azure to GCP and shape how AI tooling is used across the platform.

- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and tooling across compute, networking, CI/CD, and deployment on Kubernetes or Cloud Run
- Champion AI agent adoption across the platform, prototyping and turning ideas into reusable capabilities
- Develop foundations for AI agents including integrations with Claude and orchestration
- Implement observability, guardrails, and cost controls for AI agents in production
- Hands-on work with AI tooling/agent frameworks (Claude) and share learnings with the team
- Manage infrastructure with Terraform for consistent, auditable environments
- Contribute to Azure-to-GCP migration thinking, especially for AI tooling and agents
- Collaborate with product engineers to lower AI adoption barriers, documenting templates and examples
- Strong GCP experience (Azure experience is a plus)
- Comfort with Docker and deployment on Kubernetes or Cloud Run
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform
- Proficiency in at least one of: .NET (C#), Node.js, or Python
- Observability experience with Datadog or cloud-native tools (GCP Cloud Operations, Azure Monitor)
- Track record of driving adoption and building developer-facing tooling/docs
- Ability to lead technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers
