Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Design cloud security controls at Kinaxis using GCP, Azure, and identity expertise across Ottawa’s hybrid or Canadian remote work models.

This Information Security Engineer is a seasoned professional supporting Corporate IT and the Kinaxis Maestro SaaS platform. You will design controls across hybrid public cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The work spans cloud security, authentication, access control, and scalable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and operate controls across enterprise and SaaS environments
• Lead security engineering for cloud migrations and SaaS integrations
• Embed controls into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows
• Reduce vulnerabilities through risk-based remediation planning
• Support investigations during complex security incidents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Information Security experience
• Six to eight years in security engineering or cloud security
• Experience securing GCP or Azure hybrid environments
• Understanding of authentication, identity federation, and access control
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, and SOC 2
