Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Build cloud security at 7shifts using GCP, GKE, and Security-as-Code in a hybrid work environment with Saskatoon and Toronto offices. As Senior Security Engineer, you will strengthen the security program while reporting to the Director, Information Security and Privacy. Your work spans technical controls, incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations. You will collaborate with engineering squads to embed security into delivery and advance the information security roadmap. Key Responsibilities:

Build Security-as-Code and automated drift detection in GCP and GKE Secure CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows Engineer Datadog SIEM detections and technical controls Lead vulnerability assessment, prioritization, and remediation Own incidents, exercises, training, and post-incident reviews Requirements:

5+ years implementing security controls in SaaS environments Hands-on GCP and GKE security experience Security operations experience and practical incident response knowledge CEH, CHFI, OSCP, or ISC2 SSCP certification Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Bring cloud security, vulnerability management, and incident response expertise to protect 7shifts and its restaurant platform.
