Senior Cloud Security Engineer PwC

Design cloud security solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP expertise as a Senior Associate in PwC Canada’s hybrid consulting environment.

This forward deployed engineering role combines hands-on software development, security engineering, DevSecOps, and client delivery. You will build production-ready defenses while supporting cloud and application security initiatives. The work includes technical architecture, security controls, assessments, and secure software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy security solutions across cloud platforms and applications
• Configure identity, encryption, network, and other security controls
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure modules, and landing zones
• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and technical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM discipline
• Three to six-plus years of relevant hands-on experience
• Experience with cloud security, Terraform, IAM, networking, and KMS
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or a similar language
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
