Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer

Secure Cohere’s enterprise AI infrastructure through cloud hardening and scalable security operations. This remote-friendly role supports offices worldwide.

As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will protect cloud-native environments across AWS, OCI, and GCP. You will automate controls, manage IAM and RBAC, and operationalize security platforms. The work supports secure infrastructure at scale, incident response, compliance monitoring, and practical engineering partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Harden AWS, OCI, and GCP cloud-native environments
• Build secure infrastructure-as-code modules and reusable code libraries
• Manage IAM and RBAC for cloud infrastructure
• Deploy SIEM, SOAR, endpoint, and cloud security tooling
• Respond to incidents and harden environments afterward

Requirements:

• Five or more years in SecOps, DevSecOps, or cloud security
• Experience managing cloud platforms and Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with Git, Terraform, CI/CD, and SecOps workflows
• Experience with infrastructure automation and security observability
• Programming experience with Golang and/or Python
