Senior Cloud Software Engineer

In this role you design and deliver secure, resilient cloud features for AVEVA CONNECT on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work within an agile Core Services team to shape cloud architectures and accelerate delivery using modern engineering practices. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality while collaborating across cloud-focused domains. The opportunity combines cloud-native design, microservices, and impactful software that underpins industrial applications at scale.

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, resilient features for AVEVA CONNECT Core Services
• Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions across cloud and service-based architectures
• Build and improve services using CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support productivity, code quality, and delivery
• Collaborate in an agile team and share knowledge on cloud technologies and practices

• Strong design and coding skills with track record of high-quality technical outcomes
• Experience developing microservice or service-oriented architectures
• Good understanding of REST API design principles
• Experience with C#/.NET or multiple programming languages, plus database design, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Experience with cloud development, especially Microsoft Azure
