Senior C#/.net Developer

In this role you will design and deliver Optimizely-centric and bespoke .NET solutions, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. You will work within a cross-functional engineering team to define technical scope, standards, and best practices. You will drive project planning, architecture, and implementation quality, aligning with the team’s Optimizely and .NET objectives. This position offers hybrid work and the chance to showcase engineering excellence for a digital‑agency style environment.

• hybrid working (Manchester office 3 days / remote 2 days)

• Develop Optimizely CMS-based solutions (versions 11/12) and bespoke .NET applications
• Implement and integrate Optimizely and related technologies using .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#12, ASP.NET Core
• Collaborate with QA, BA, PM, DevOps and other engineers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Define technical scope, estimates, and skill requirements for software delivery
• Enforce and evolve coding standards, testing, deployments, and technical documentation
• Maintain and improve technical delivery processes and ensure Optimizely engineering objectives are met

• Optimizely CMS development experience (v11/v12) or strong Umbraco CMS experience
• Solid knowledge of .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Core 6+, C#12, ASP.NET Core MVC / Razor Pages
• Experience with Git or source control
• JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Collaborative attitude and ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
