Overview

As a CPU Compiler Engineer at NVIDIA, you design and refine the upstream LLVM toolchain for NVIDIA Grace CPUs, enabling high-performance AI and HPC workloads. You collaborate with global teams to implement features and optimisations that boost compiler effectiveness across CPU micro-architecture. You will contribute to open source communities and shape the next generation of CPU tooling. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a distributed partner to understand, modify, and enhance NVIDIA CPU compiler software
  • Contribute new features and optimisation techniques for NVIDIA Grace CPUs within upstream LLVM and open source communities
  • Develop high-performance compiler software optimized for NVIDIA architectures
  • Be part of a team central to AI, HPC, and data center technologies
  • Assist in developing next-generation CPU micro-architecture
Key requirements
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of production compiler development experience
  • Knowledge of language front-ends or compiler optimisation techniques and code generation
  • Strong hands-on C++ programming skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
