Overview

As a Senior Compiler Engineer at Riverlane, you will tailor software libraries and low-level code to run our DeltaFlow Hardware in collaboration with customer control systems. You will deliver low-latency, high-throughput solutions and adapt software to evolving quantum control environments. You’ll participate in pre-sales workshops, on-site integrations, and experiments with the Quantum Application Team to validate systems. You join a cross-disciplinary team pursuing cutting-edge QEC research and real-world deployment, shaping next-generation products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical workshops and evaluate customer control system requirements
  • Perform end-to-end system deployment and on-site integration
  • Develop Python and C++ to adapt to customer control systems and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with Quantum Application Team to design experiments and test systems
  • Benchmark hardware latency and identify bottlenecks
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and reproduce customer issues with QA
  • Update verification environments and test vectors from experiments
  • Act as Voice of the Customer to inform product strategy and feature needs
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Broad knowledge of software and hardware stacks (compilers, operating systems, architectures)
  • Experience in compilers (LLVM, MLIR or similar)
  • Experience shipping software to users
  • Proficiency in Python; proficiency in C++ or Rust
  • Ability to translate product requirements into technical specs
