Senior Compliance Data Analyst

Drive compliance decisions remotely at Payward with Python, SQL, and transaction monitoring expertise. Analyze emerging trends and operational performance across Kraken. As a Senior Data Analyst, Compliance, you will partner with Compliance to turn requirements into reliable detection logic. You will manage datasets, pipelines, dashboards, and insights supporting transaction monitoring across deposits and withdrawals. The work includes evaluating rules, investigating root causes, and guiding measurable operational improvements. Key Responsibilities:

Own transaction monitoring logic and rule-setting across deposits and withdrawals Translate compliance requirements into accurate production detection logic Develop Python and SQL pipelines for transaction data workflows Evaluate detection coverage, alert quality, and threshold sensitivity Deploy, monitor, and support detection workflows and alert integrations Requirements:

Seven or more years in data analysis, science, or management Experience in fintech, crypto, financial services, or gambling Strong Python, SQL, statistical, and production systems experience Experience with dbt, orchestration, testing, version control, and CI/CD Based in Canada, the United States, or Brazil; fluent English Apply senior data analysis, Python, SQL, and compliance expertise to strengthen transaction monitoring at Payward.
