Senior Construction Project Accountant

Lead project financial accuracy with cost control and reporting expertise as a Senior Project Accountant supporting Ledcor projects in Edmonton or Fort McMurray.

Reporting to the Project Controller, this senior position manages project accounting across construction operations. You will analyze costs, maintain controls, communicate contract terms, and provide financial interpretations to leadership. The work supports accurate billing, forecasting, and project decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project costs and provide decision-making insights
• Maintain cost control systems supporting project budgets
• Report project financials and interpretations to leadership
• Prepare monthly invoices, progress billings, and equipment rentals
• Reconcile electronic billing and gather third-party invoices

Requirements:

• Minimum five years’ similar experience
• Post-secondary business degree
• Construction accounting and software knowledge
• JD Edwards or similar ERP knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
