Overview

In EY Digital Engineering, you will shape and deliver full-stack solutions that address key client challenges. You’ll work in agile, cross-functional teams on meaningful problems such as digital transformation and scalable software. You’ll lead delivery of practical, end-to-end tech solutions while mentoring others and shaping product outcomes. This role offers ownership of complex systems and opportunities to grow technically and as a leader in a rapidly expanding team.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end design, development and delivery of full-stack products from UI to backend
  • Build responsive UIs with modern frameworks (React, Angular or Vue)
  • Design and implement robust APIs and services with a focus on security and reliability
  • Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Present features and technical solutions to stakeholders and clients
  • Perform peer code reviews and uphold engineering standards
  • Lead non-functional improvements, reduce technical debt, optimize performance, and document APIs
  • Mentor junior developers and foster continuous improvement and engineering excellence
Key requirements
  • Strong full-stack development experience with increasing responsibility
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular or Vue)
  • Backend development experience with Node.js, Java, Python, .NET or similar
  • Experience designing scalable APIs and distributed systems
  • Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
  • Experience with testing (unit/integration/automation) and quality practices
  • Knowledge of agile, cross-functional delivery and planning
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and CI/CD or DevOps is beneficial
  • Knowledge of NoSQL, microservices or event-driven architectures is desirable
  • Strong leadership and technical decision-making
  • Excellent problem-solving and proactive approach
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders of all levels
