Senior Consultant - Migration Architect

In this role, you transform how life sciences teams migrate data and documents into Vault R&D and Vault Platform, guiding projects from start to finish. You partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migrations and customer outcomes, acting as the trusted subject-matter expert on migration strategies and tooling. You will mentor junior specialists, contribute to a scalable migration program, and support validation activities. This is a customer-facing, impact-driven role within Veeva’s EU Professional Services, with travel to client sites in Europe.

• Provide subject-matter expertise on Vault R&D migration, including document and data migration from legacy systems to Vault
• Drive migration projects from start to finish (A to Z)
• Advise customers during extract-transform-load (ETL) processes
• Mentor Veeva Data Migration Specialists on migration activities and best practices
• Support Customer Validation Exercise
• Contribute to Professional Services knowledge base to build a migration program
• Provide guidance on migration tool development for ETL processes
• Assist in project scoping estimates for Vault R&D product suite

• 8+ years in document/content migration with enterprise CMS (Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, etc.) or 8+ years in database migration with enterprise software (SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Trackwise, Argus, ArisGlobal, etc.)
• 5+ years of Project Management experience for enterprise software implementations
• 5+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience
• Proven track record presenting to management and executives as SME
• Experience with Life Science industry / GxP and software validation regulations
• Experience leading and mentoring team members
• Ability to travel up to 20%
