Senior Consultant-Oracle Fusion HCM Absence Domain Techno Functional-UK

In this role you will implement and support Oracle Fusion HCM Absence Management for UK public sector clients. You will lead functional design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliant absence processes tied to payroll. You will translate complex solutions for diverse audiences and guide projects through the SDLC to deliver reliable systems. You will collaborate with payroll, HR operations, and technical teams to resolve issues and support production readiness. This position offers the chance to shape UK absence implementations and contribute to Infosys’ digital transformation agenda in a London-based delivery context.

• Lead functional analysis, configuration and support for Oracle Fusion Absence Management for UK operations
• Configure absence plans, types, reasons, eligibility profiles, accrual rules, certifications, balances, work schedules, public holidays and integrations with payroll/time modules
• Translate UK absence policy requirements into scalable Fusion configuration and clearly documented functional design decisions
• Support end-to-end testing including unit, system integration, UAT, regression, and payroll-impact validation
• Collaborate with payroll, HR operations and technical teams to resolve absence defects, data issues and integration failures
• Prepare functional specifications for reports, extracts, integrations, conversions and Fast Formula requirements linked to absence processes
• Support production incidents, root cause analysis, change requests, release regression and operational handover documentation
• Engage business stakeholders to clarify requirements, explain solution options and manage risks around absence/payroll dependencies

• Minimum 10+ years in implementing Oracle Fusion HCM for Core HR, Absence, Payroll and Performance for UK Public Sector clients
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Absence Management implementation and/or AMS support
• Strong understanding of UK absence processes (sickness, maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave, holiday management)
• Experience with eligibility profiles, work schedules, calendars, absence plans, accrual rules and approval workflows
• Ability to work with Fast Formula/technical teams for accrual, validation and payroll interface requirements
• Strong testing, defect triage, documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Knowledge of HCM technical tools including HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, Payroll batch loader
