Senior Credit Manager, Loan Structuring

Shape complex financial deals through credit analysis and loan structuring as a Senior Manager, Underwriting with BDC’s hybrid team.

BDC seeks an experienced underwriting leader to prepare high-quality proposals for businesses across Canada. You will assess medium to high complexity lending opportunities, establish suitable conditions, and support compliant deal structures. Success requires strong communication, negotiation, and knowledge of credit policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze loan proposals across various industries
• Structure complex financial deals within accepted risk parameters
• Set appropriate pricing, terms, covenants, and conditions
• Negotiate structures with internal business partners
• Maintain current knowledge of credit and regulatory trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or accounting
• Three to five years or more of relevant experience
• Experience writing loans and structuring complex transactions
• Strong understanding of credit policies and practices
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
