Senior CSIRT Security Architect

Toronto-based Senior Security Architect work focuses on incident response and Zero Trust implementation within a flexible hybrid contract. Lead CSIRT maturity and identity security.

This senior position supports cyber security incident response across internal teams, external partners, and the Ontario health sector. You will develop procedures, playbooks, policies, standards, governance, and reporting. The work also covers hands-on Zero Trust delivery across identity, access, and network security, including AI-driven threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal and sector-wide cyber security incident response
• Develop incident procedures, playbooks, policies, and standards
• Produce incident reports, executive briefings, and communications
• Assess Zero Trust identity and network control gaps
• Operationalise identity-focused Zero Trust technologies

Requirements:

• Seven to ten years of cyber security experience
• Strong CSIRT or SOC incident response exposure
• Hands-on Zero Trust and identity access management experience
• Experience with MFA, Conditional Access, PAM/PIM, or Entra ID
• Excellent stakeholder, written, and verbal communication skills
