Senior Cyber Security Analyst Toronto

Apply cyber security analysis expertise at Choice Properties in Toronto, supporting threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management through a hybrid schedule.

This Senior Analyst, Cyber Security role supports and enhances Choice Properties’ cyber security program. You will advance initiatives involving Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Proofpoint, and Microsoft Purview. Reporting to the Director, Cyber Security, you will also contribute to risk assessments, policy alignment, and security awareness management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor real-time alerts and investigate potential security threats
• Support incident response efforts across the organization
• Coordinate vulnerability identification, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting
• Administer Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Resolve security tickets, inquiries, and technical requests

Requirements:

• Minimum five years’ progressive information security or related IT experience
• Post-secondary education in computer science, information technology, or related fields
• Preferred Security+, CySA+, CISA, CISM, SC-300, or SC-401 certification
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally
