Overview

In this role, you will strengthen data governance, data quality, and data platform capabilities for a global organisation. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to raise data standards and enable trusted reporting as part of a broader data transformation program. You will design and implement governance frameworks, monitor data quality, and promote a data-driven culture. You’ll work with modern data platforms and governance tools to deliver scalable, trusted data insights that support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, standards, and processes globally
  • Define critical data elements, ownership models, and data quality expectations with stakeholders
  • Create and maintain data quality rules, monitoring, reporting, and remediation workflows
  • Support adoption of data governance tools: data cataloguing, metadata management, and data quality platforms
  • Promote data ownership and stewardship across business teams and foster a data-driven culture
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues on trusted data usage
  • Work with Snowflake and governance capabilities (Horizon Catalog, Streamlit, Metric Functions, Trust Centre)
  • Leverage Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog (CDGC), Cloud Data Quality (CDQ), dbt, and MDM where applicable
  • Bridge technical and business teams with clear communication and practical data solutions
Key requirements
  • Strong experience in data governance and data quality
  • Ability to interact across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK or similar best practices
  • Experience with Snowflake and data governance tooling
