Interim Data Analyst | Power BI | Workforce Analytics

HW Interim Solutions are working with a prominent financial services organisation to appoint an Interim Data Analyst to support the development of its Strategic Workforce Planning capability.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting underneath the data, understanding where it sits, bringing structure to multiple data sources and turning it into useful insight.

The initial focus will include:

• Identifying and reviewing existing workforce datasets and data sources
• Working with stakeholders to understand the data, definitions and requirements
• Assessing data quality, gaps and inconsistencies
• Bringing data together into a structured, refreshable model
• Building Power BI dashboards and executive-level workforce insight
• Supporting analysis around headcount, FTE, workforce composition, joiners/leavers and skills/capability

We’re looking for someone with strong Power BI, SQL and data modelling capability who is comfortable working independently and taking something from initial data discovery through to a usable dashboard.

Previous experience with HR, people or workforce data would be particularly useful.

The assignment is initially 3–6 months, with an ASAP start and 2–3 days per week onsite in Leeds.
