Senior Data Analyst

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Triangle Analytics team in Toronto, ON. This high-visibility role is accountable for providing critical CTC Triangle offer performance insights and enabling business teams to make effective operational decisions on weekly digital marketing campaigns, including Loyalty Customer 1-1 Offers and Offer Swaps. The team also manages performance measurement of key strategic initiatives through Triangle and Partnership Scorecards.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage key data pipeline processes that fuel various Loyalty Customer reports and tools using an "automate first" mindset
• Work with data engineers, data scientists, and product managers to analyze and interpret data, and develop metrics to measure results
• Solve non-routine analysis problems while applying advanced analytical methods as needed
• Provide key commentary on customer interactions across various media channels through effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of CTC's Loyalty Customer data structures and metrics while advocating for change where needed
• Design intuitive dashboards to translate complex customer data into actionable insights across the organization
• Integrate new methodologies into existing processes

What You Bring

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science (equivalent experience considered)
• 3+ years of professional work experience in the data analysis domain
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for complex data analysis
• Intermediate knowledge of a programming language such as Python, R, or SAS
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data intelligence and visualization platforms such as Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
• Balance of technical and business acumen for modeling business cases and strategic recommendations
• M.S. degree in a related field (asset)
• Experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, hypothesis testing, and sampling methods (asset)
• Demonstrated leadership and self-direction (asset)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $64,000 – $106,000 CAD annually
