Senior Data and ML Engineer

As a Senior Data and ML Engineer at Croud, you will shape data-driven solutions that power client work and the agency’s products. You’ll lead end-to-end data engineering efforts, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions. You’ll apply DataOps, governance, and ML/GenAI capabilities to improve revenue-driving outcomes. • Support the Head of Data Engineering in delivering data engineering solutions and contribute to technical decision-making
• Own project implementation to deliver client solutions with junior team members
• Champion data, software engineering and data security best practices and mentor the team
• Solutioning client deliverables and communicating progress to clients
• Contribute to DataOps and governance policies, processes, and standards
• Hands-on work in data integrations, warehousing, automation and related tasks
• Oversee deliveries across multiple clients ensuring high quality within constraints
• Research and development on new technologies and adoption with clients
• Identify risks and create mitigation plans
• Contribute to new business and cross-sell proposals with implementation details and effort estimates

• Excellent Python, SQL, and database design skills
• Proficiency in dbt/Dataform or similar SQL development frameworks
• Cloud-based data warehousing experience, particularly GCP/BigQuery
• Hands-on experience with production data pipelines and serverless technologies
• Strong software/infrastructure engineering practices: Docker, Terraform, CI/CD
• Experience with ML models including feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning
• Experience deploying end-to-end ML/GenAI solutions (MLOps) and monitoring
• Ability to communicate technical topics to diverse stakeholders
