- Lead the design of robust, scalable data architectures across transformation programmes
- Provide specialist guidance on data modelling, structures, flows, sourcing, transformation, migration and master data
- Translate business needs into practical architecture solutions and assess opportunities to modernise
- Ensure architecture assurance across lifecycle meeting regulatory and business requirements
- Establish and promote standards, patterns, and best practices for data architecture
- Address data definition, ownership, mastering and information-management challenges
- Contribute to enterprise data decisions and recommend suitable data technologies
- Engage with clients to understand challenges and strategic objectives; build relationships with stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops to establish data strategies and architectural direction
- Provide independent thought leadership on data architecture and emerging practices
- Help organisations establish data governance frameworks and lifecycle management
- Professional experience in Data Architecture with strong client-facing and technical leadership
- Experience in UK healthcare or public sector environments
- Strong expertise in data modelling, data analysis, metadata management, data transformation, data migration and master data
- Proven track record of delivering architecture assurance and defining technical standards
- Knowledge of data architecture methodologies, patterns and best practices
- Experience selecting data products and technologies at project or enterprise level
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Confidence in providing technical thought leadership to clients and internal teams
- Knowledge of at least three mainstream data technologies and awareness of industry developments
- Proactive, able to operate under uncertain requirements or priorities
