Senior Data Center Administrator

Administer enterprise data center infrastructure for Atlantic Packaging in Scarborough, Ontario, using Windows Server and VMware across multiple sites. This hybrid, six-month contract supports Canadian and United States operations.

As Senior Data Center Administrator, you will maintain compute, storage, networking, backup, and disaster recovery environments. You will support modernization projects, hybrid-cloud transitions, infrastructure automation, and security controls. The role requires senior escalation, documentation, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily enterprise data center operations across multiple sites
• Administer Windows Server environments within VMware infrastructure
• Monitor performance, capacity, logs, and infrastructure health
• Support upgrades, migrations, consolidation, and modernization initiatives
• Lead incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Requirements:

• Eight or more years in data center administration or related fields
• Enterprise storage, VMware, and Dell compute knowledge
• Hybrid-cloud familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Networking fundamentals covering LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN
• Ability to travel across Canada and the United States
