Senior Data Center IT Technician

Overview

Senior Data Center IT Technician role at Nebius. Location: Keflavík, Iceland (relocation support available for qualified candidates).

Responsibilities

• Plan regular IT tasks in the data center.
• Resolve issues with IT hardware and support IT infrastructure in the data center.
• Collaborate with related departments and external contractors.
• Analyze problems and abnormal situations in the data center and identify root causes.
• Maintain reports on the work of IT data center support.
• Create and maintain current processes and procedures for operation and repairing server equipment.

Qualifications

• University or specialized education.
• Practical experience in planning and solving technical problems.
• Knowledge of data center, server, and network equipment principles.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and the command line.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodology and ITSM operational activities.
• Knowledge in project planning and management.
• Strong written and spoken fluency in English.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lists, graphs).
• Presentation skills using PowerPoint or equivalents.
