Senior Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist

Senior Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist work centers on VMware, server support, and maintaining availability across complex infrastructure environments. On-call support is required when needed.

This senior infrastructure role supports KTLO, data centre operations, project refreshes, decommissioning, asset management, RFID, and DCIMS. You will maintain hardware, resolve incidents, implement changes, and coordinate service providers. The position requires knowledge of virtual servers, networking, security architecture, backup infrastructure, SAN, and tape libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfil data centre availability, reliability, efficiency, and uptime commitments
• Maintain and support IT hardware infrastructure at data centres
• Analyse and resolve infrastructure hardware and server incidents
• Document and implement infrastructure change requests
• Coordinate providers, hardware changes, and equipment disposal

Requirements:

• Support multiple technical teams and provide incident resolution
• Work with V-Centre, VMware, and virtual server environments
• Support Windows, Solaris, AIX, and Mainframe servers
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Understand Tier IV and Tier II data centre procedures
