Senior Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist

Lead data centre infrastructure support through VMware, server administration, and incident resolution. This senior position covers KTLO, refreshes, and decommissioning.

The Senior Infrastructure Integration Specialist supports data centre operations, hardware infrastructure, and server environments. Responsibilities include maintaining availability, coordinating providers, and resolving infrastructure incidents. The work also covers network or server decommissioning, co-location support, and project refreshes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfil data centre availability, reliability, efficiency, and uptime commitments
• Maintain and support IT hardware infrastructure at data centres
• Analyze and resolve hardware and server infrastructure incidents
• Coordinate providers and mitigate impacts on data centre operations
• Install, configure, and decommission servers and infrastructure components

Requirements:

• Support multiple technical teams across infrastructure environments
• Use V-Centre and VMware to maintain virtual servers
• Support Windows, Solaris, AIX, and mainframe server environments
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Work within Uptime Certified Tier IV and Tier II data centres
