Overview

In this role you help clients unlock trusted data and AI, advising on data governance and MDM to enable better decisions. You will design data management operating models and drive governance and quality across modern data platforms. You collaborate with architects, engineers and data scientists to embed governance and ethical AI practices. You lead or contribute to strategic engagements and support business development. This is a chance to shape data foundations for AI-enabled transformation within a global technology consultancy.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on data management, governance and AI strategies, shaping vision, roadmaps and business cases
  • Design and implement data governance operating models, including policies and processes
  • Lead or contribute to data governance, data quality, metadata management, MDM, lineage and catalogue initiatives
  • Translate complex concepts into business outcomes, influencing senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers and data scientists to embed governance and quality into data platforms and AI solutions
  • Support trusted, ethical and compliant AI through strong data foundations
  • Senior Consultant level: lead workstreams, mentor colleagues, support proposals and client presentations
Key requirements
  • Experience designing and delivering data management, governance or MDM solutions within consulting or industry
  • Experience with data catalogues, metadata management, data lineage, data quality or governance frameworks
  • Hands-on with at least one data governance or data management platform (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama or Microsoft Purview)
  • Experience defining and embedding data stewardship models and operating frameworks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management with ability to influence diverse audiences
  • Collaborative, problem-solving mindset with interest in AI and data-driven transformation
  • Desirable: AI governance, Responsible AI, AI data preparation, model lifecycle, bias detection, DAMA DMBOK
