Overview

As a Data Consultant (Senior Manager), you will lead strategic data consulting across Data & AI Strategy, Operating Models, Governance and Analytics. You will shape propositions, guide client projects, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across sectors. You’ll drive scalable data solutions, contribute to pre‑sales activities, and stay at the forefront of data and analytics trends. This role combines leadership, client advisory, and hands‑on delivery in a London‑based role with UK/Europe travel.

• Lead and deliver data consulting projects including data strategy development, Data Operating Models, and data literacy programmes
• Advise clients on data management, data quality, and data governance best practices
• Translate complex data opportunities into clear business outcomes
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
• Lead high‑performing teams across locations to design and implement innovative solutions
• Support pre‑sales activities
• Provide thought leadership and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data and analytics
• Define and develop Data & AI frameworks and methodologies for scalable, repeatable delivery
• Mentor and support junior consultants to foster continuous learning and development

• 8+ years of experience in data consulting, data strategy, or related roles
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data-related fields
• Experience in major management consulting firms or industry with consulting background in a matrixed organization
• Deep understanding of data governance, data platforms, cloud technologies, AI/ML, and analytics
• Experience of leading and delivering Data & AI projects
• Strong problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with consulting‑led sales
