Overview

In this role you will design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to enable data-driven decision making. You will work within a cross-functional environment to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and optimized for analytics and machine learning. You’ll shape data platforms and collaborate with analytics teams to support BI, reporting, and advanced analytics. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes and lakehouse architectures
  • Design data models and collaborate with analytics teams to support BI
  • Develop orchestration workflows and monitor pipelines for reliability
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across platforms
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams; mentor junior engineers
Key requirements
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling
  • Programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
  • Hands-on experience with distributed data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Experience with data pipelines and ETL tools
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Data warehousing and streaming technologies familiarity
  • DevOps/DataOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
