Our client is a fast-growing consumer tech company, and they’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help scale the data platform behind decision-making across the business. It’s a high-ownership role in a team of 5.
What you’ll be doing
- Building and maintaining scalable pipelines in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster, dbt and AWS
- Owning projects end to end, from ingestion through to analytics
- Building a proper staging and testing environment, and improving monitoring, alerting and data quality
- Contributing to CDC and lower-latency data work
What they’re looking for
- Senior-level data engineer with solid software engineering habits
- Confident Python and SQL in production
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster or Airflow, and AWS
- Startup or scale-up background, comfortable with ambiguity
What’s on offer
- £85,000 - £100,000, fully remote within the UK
